The add-in is signed with a Symantec certificate.
Used .net 4.5.2

Why this happens: word sends requests to certificate authorities to look for a list of revoked certificates.
Requests go to servers:
.symcd.com
.symcb.com
ctldl.windowsupdate.com
Total 5 requests for 30 seconds. The customer's gateway blocks the Internet and in fact the request falls off after 30 seconds. The customer does not have the opportunity to change the logic of the gateway. I think this is a clear mistake of the AddIn developer, who did not foresee such a scenario. If the project is not very large, you can decompile it (there is usually no protection) and rewrite it again.
