Immediately take and try to do a project well - a bad idea?

Hey!
In general, I recently worked on one project - reading a Qr code written in Qt for Android, but there should have been one for iOS. In general, the deadline catastrophically failed. As a result, my project failed. I prepared for the children's New Year's party so that parents could read certain information from the Qr code.
I tried to design an application first for the Android platform with a beautiful design. Can’t you immediately take and prepare everything to the screws? My deadline was 2 months. Please give advice. Thanks

right away and make it good / perfect - perhaps a great idea, but not feasible)
and there is nothing wrong with moving towards a good product gradually, sometimes even completely redoing it.

Actually, zhiza. It seems that I know that from the very beginning "everything is beautiful" cannot be done, but I still try. Then, of course, I start everything anew, but already somehow, and twisting in the future.
