If you remove the non-removable battery, will the laptop work only from the network?

Power indicator shows: 0% available (connected, charging). But in fact, nothing is charging, the indicator flashes red constantly. The laptop also shuts down on its own from time to time. Maybe that's not the point, of course. Will this solve the problem if you remove the battery? Notebook Acer Aspire V-3

It will work, there is no obvious reason for it not to work. Once on some Asus (I don’t remember the model) I had to throw out the battery when it swelled up and arched the keyboard.

Will this solve the problem if you remove the battery?
It is unlikely to solve the problem with shutdown, but since the battery is dead, it will not get worse without it. By the way, have you checked the power adapter? Are these problems related to him? For example, a voltage drop under load is quite a reason for a sudden shutdown and lack of charging.

This problem will NOT be solved.
And the fact that the battery is 0th is not a problem.
