Is this laptop enough for comfortable web development?
Good day to all, the following question arose: I decided to buy a laptop, because I'm tired of sitting at the office at the computer, there is no percent sad and ssd, I index a large project in phpstorm for 3 minutes, well, it drives straight into tilt, but the RAM costs 16GB. So, the crux of the matter is that I chose a laptop with these characteristics
--------------------
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 4500U
RAM: 8 GB
SSD: 512 GB
-- ------------------
I'm not very good at hardware, maybe smart people will tell me if I'll run into the RAM during development, will there be any problems with this?

They will, stay away. I used a computer with 8 gigabytes of RAM for web development, I don't want to anymore.
If you do not want to suffer, you need at least 12, preferably 16 gigabytes of memory.
Do you really need a laptop?
Because a laptop is not about performance, it's about mobility.
From the point of view of performance - the processor is normal, ssd is also good, but you can buy more RAM later (check again, by the way, sometimes manufacturers 'put sticks' on purpose)
Observation - it's very strange to see people who pay big money to buy a gaming laptop, put it on the table (they buy a cooling pad, monitor, mouse and keyboard) and never take it off the table, when for half that money they could just buy a super stationary.
