If you don't pay $99 again, what will happen to the app in the App Store?

Created a developer account, paid the $99 fee, downloaded the app, passed the checks, the app was published in the App Store.
A year has passed. The next installment of $99 was not paid.
What will happen to the developer account?
What happens to an app that has been published to the App Store?

The app will disappear from the App Store until you pay. How long they will "keep" the account before deletion - I don't know, I only had a few days experience
