If I view an encrypted Zip archive and close it, will an unprotected copy of its contents appear on the system?
On a Windows computer, there is a folder zipped with 7-Zip. The archive has a password. If I enter the correct password and view the files in this archive (play the archived video using the player, view the archived pictures using the viewer, etc.), will unprotected copies of these files appear outside the archive? In some temporary folder, for example, where they can be accessed without a password, or somewhere else.

Most software cannot read information from archives, so when you try to open a file from an archive or run a program, it is extracted from the archive to the Temp folder located in the user profile, and is used from there. Then it is deleted, or not deleted, as lucky.
Therefore, yes - in most cases it appears. But here a lot depends on how you work with the archive.
