IE 8.9 on steroids?

at work is an old system with a bunch of miracles tied to asset x. Accordingly, it does not want to work in other browsers. but the most depressing thing is that there is some kind of compatibility, almost under 6/7. in their pages (displayed in the frame) the line still saved

and 9 the donkey came to life a little.
but I decided to use something new and received a completely incomprehensible reaction.
how can I "pump" it, by loading some js scripts (about excanvas in the course), or maybe a plugin that can be installed?

Put Chrome Frame on users, we are talking about an intranet, right?
