IDE or code editor for C#?

I started to learn C #, but I have a question: is there an ide or code editor that is approximately equivalent to Visual Studio, but not so resource-intensive?

VS or Rider, I like the first option more, but 2 will work on Linux

If "lightness" is critical, then look towards Geany. (Probably, you will need to manually write the compilation / run commands).
PS MonoDevelop under Windows, frankly, does not shine.
