Icons in the menu - is it worth it?

Do you think it's better with or without icons? I asked the designer to draw a new header for the site. In general, I think to make one lane, what do you think?

In a vertical menu, icons are appropriate (not always, but they are appropriate).
Icons are cluttered in the horizontal menu.

The answer to this question is too subjective. From a UX perspective, clear and visually distinct icons are usually faster to read than text and make things easier to work with. In your case, I would leave the icons.

Now everyone is moving away from icons - this is already outdated. There is no need to load the design. Do you think the user can't read? Of course he can. The text is enough.

Let's start with this:

I asked the designer to draw a new header for the site

There is no design and no smell. It's just graphics, not design .
2nd option + more menu space 1st and 2nd part of the header. - Give me some air. (But the design will still not be there).
Without icons.

The first seems to be solely because of the composition, as the icons take up space and the holes between the items become smaller. If in the second option reduce the distance between the points, then it will also be OK
