I3wm. How to move the focus to it automatically after the application is launched?

Good day to all.
I use i3wm window manager. And for my convenience, I decided to tweak it a bit.
To begin with, I set it up so that when the application (any) is launched, it would be placed on the desired desktop. It all works. But here's how to do it, so that immediately after that, the focus would also go to this desktop.
In order for the desired program to run on the desired desktop, I do this:

assign [class="^XTerm$" instance="^xTerm$"] 2: console

I suspect that you need to use the 'focus' command, but how to bind it so that it would be called immediately after opening the application.

Search / ask better in the faq of i3wm itself. Or at least on linux.org.ru .
Well, on the topic, a simple solution (by means of i3wm itself), I think, will not work. Most likely you will have to use third-party utilities (like i3-py).
