I want to try developing with grunt.js, jade and SASS on a windows machine. How to properly deploy a development environment?

Do I understand correctly that for this you need to put this under windows:
\bower
\git
\grunt
\nodejs
\ruby
?
Or maybe it’s more correct to have a virtual machine with UBUNTU and start everything under it?
Who has what practice?
