I want to fully learn the operation of the computer. How?

I won't write for a long time.
Recommend literature, articles, and more so that you can fully study the operation of the computer to the lowest level. First of all, interest plays, secondly, it can be useful in the future. I will be very grateful for your help.

You are 45-50 years late. Understand that the rule "the smaller the size, the simpler it is" does not work now. Look at your video card. Let's say it's Nvidia. Let's say you bought it last year. You hold in your hands the result of the work and research of nearly 8,800 people. I don't mean that 8,800 did it every day for 8 hours. But the fact that 8k people worked at Nvidia at the time the video card was released is a fact. You can read Computer Architecture, Fifth Edition: A Quantitative Approach, or any university course on computer architecture.

If Tanenbaum is difficult, then I recommend Petzold's "Code. The Secret Language of Informatics" ( www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/125884 ) first. In it, starting from the very basics, an explanation of the operation of computers (and not only) is gradually given. And then Tanenbaum.

Study from whose point of view? Programmer or electronics engineer? If a programmer, then it is enough to understand how the processor executes the program and how data is transferred between different devices. You also need to know how the OS works. For a programmer, I think this is enough. This is if only with the bottoms. To understand the work of Intel processors, you need to read these docks. There are similar ones for AMD.
