I want to create art for my games myself, what should I read?

Some time ago, I became interested in game design, but I devoted my time mainly to the technical side of the issue. Created several concepts in Unity, completed one small project. And in the process of work, I came to the realization that my works look like crafts of a preschooler in paint.
I would really like to come to the point where I can create more colorful art for my games. 2D characters and backgrounds, textures for 3D models, etc. The problem is that with drawing I have an extremely limited experience of communication, and immediately without any system knowledge, it turns out to be a continuous scribble-doodle.
Yes, I understand how wide a field of knowledge I have now covered, you probably won’t learn all this business in 3 lives, and 2D and 3D graphics are fundamentally different things. But the more high-quality sources of information I gather, the wider the opportunities for development will be. Therefore, friends, who than can. Literature, video courses, advice from personal experience, everything that you think fits the subject. Thanks in advance!
ps if you suddenly find it, you can add something in 3D modeling as a bonus, in this area you also need to grow a lot.

Well, I don't even know, try artalaski .
He has a series of videos there about creating more or less nice graphics for noobs. So, it will take at least a year of forced learning to master only the basics (volume, light, color, reflexes, anatomy, perspective, etc.), and you need to have a strong desire to draw, so as not to quit not even halfway, but closer to beginning.
