I spilled coffee on the system unit, what should I do?
In general, it so happened that she spilled coffee on the system unit, on top there is a dust collector grid, through which everything was poured inside.
Coolers suffered (to hell with them).
Mother and video card: the mother has a piece between the back panel and the processor, and the video card has a piece right on some kind of microchip and the back “tail” of the pci express (photo below).
As it all happened, I immediately cut down the computer from the cords and turned it upside down, so it stood for a day, so that everything would flow out.
Then she dismantled it and wiped the places where the coffee had got with ear sticks dipped in alcohol, so that outwardly the traces of a foreign drink almost disappeared.
The plans are to let it dry for a day and try to start it.
But many are afraid that the mother will close and drag everything else with her.
I don’t see the point in carrying a service, because anyway, in a month or two I was going to change the computer.
It would be nice if I was with a computer for these 3 months, but if it is otherwise, then I will endure.
What do you think? What are the chances of "survival"? Did you do everything right?

Isopropyl alcohol is great for cleaning, it contains almost no water.

Isopropyl alcohol, if there was coffee with sugar, then a little more effort will be needed to remove sticky sugar. It is only necessary to wash all this plaque in order to avoid problems in the future.
If everything is good. And there are no visible traces of coffee, then to be sure, it’s better to warm everything up with a hair dryer (an ordinary cosmetic hair dryer will not melt anything, but if there is coffee (moisture) somewhere, then everything will be fine.
There is, of course, an even stranger but effective option. Separately, each computer component, put in rice. Rice perfectly draws out moisture and absorbs it in. And then you can turn it on. If you still managed to turn it off in time, and nothing burned out. Everything will be ok.
