I know WP well, but I don’t earn much, what am I doing wrong?

I have already made 3 online stores on woocommerce. Topic from scratch, I added little php code, basically I put everything in the right place, styled it and the like. It turns out to do 2 stores a month. I work remotely, there is a person who is looking for orders. About 12 thousand rubles a month came out of these two stores. I thought that a person with knowledge between basics and averages on WP earns at least 20k or more. Either the price of Internet stores is small in this case, or you need to do at least 4 similar projects per month. What do you advise? I'm slowly doing, or the prices are small, it's not clear. Within the framework of WP, they say you need to learn how to write plugins, but in practice this is not necessary, or something is added to funcsions or the functionality is not complicated. I do not believe that this is the limit on sn. even if I do 4 similar projects per month.

PPC, that's who collapses the market!!
The store will bring profit to the owner, and you are modest, you are afraid to bend the price, as if you are making Vasya Pupkin's personal page.
If a business cannot buy an Internet store for at least 40k rubles, then in fact no one needs such a business, it will die in a couple of months with such stinginess! In the same place, it will still be necessary to promote, most likely to work in the social. networks, etc.
And you, with your modesty, only increase entropy , then such dead stores hang for years, until the domain is forgotten to renew ...
I don’t do a store at the minimum with the layout of all pages less than 120k, the average is 200-300k, with full customization (delivery, georeferences, discounts, accumulative, personal accounts, promotional codes, product links, etc.) - this is your guide for the future!

Get started with Upwork.com. There is a lot of work in WordPress. Work with Western customers (preferably Europe, USA, Australia; Indian / Arab / Asian customers - not worth it).
Become a pro. Set goals for yourself, practice. Watch the suggestion feed to understand what tasks are encountered, and practice again.
There is no such thing as a price for a particular job. This is the biggest psychological barrier. With experience, you understand that a good client pays not only for the result, but for the comfort of working with you, ease of communication, the ability to ask the right questions and not bother with unnecessary questions, for the ability to be in touch, to answer quickly, briefly, clearly, to do the job in such a way , so that later you don’t have to fix and finish dofiga.
Do not work with bad clients who think that you owe them something, do not value your time, etc. During the contract - you are a professional who provides qualified assistance to those who need it, and not just a hired xs-who. You work "with someone", not "under someone". Learn to refuse bad clients, to say "no"; not to explain, but to talk about the conditions under which they agree to work.
To get started, set yourself a rate of $12 per hour (and now compare how much it will cost for the same amount of work for which you get 12k rubles now). Depending on the success, the number of orders and the quality of reviews for six months or a year, the rate can be raised to $25-40 per hour (and this is not the limit, I have seen VP pros who charge $65-80 for VP).
An important point. Do not take it for trolling, but "the devil is in the details." No offense. Learn to write correctly. A careless person in business correspondence can write the same careless code. There is always Google at hand, water with grammar checking, etc. Don't be lazy.
And most importantly, believe in yourself. If someone else can, you can too. Everything will work out.
Good luck =)

Good evening.
I work with WP a lot. My advice to you: do not take projects with such small budgets. 2 stores for 12k is very little. Even if these are very simple projects, it’s still not enough. 20k earn more than real.

You work in the Russian market. There, alas, in most cases the budget will be very sad.

Buy ready-made themes for woocommerce and include them in the cost of the project if the customer does not have a ready-made design.
That will be much faster.
You can buy html templates, but woocommerce themes are considered a ready-made store that only needs to be filled in and the store will take a couple of days if the price is normally done.
On one more theme with a little customization, you can make several stores.

You should first understand the price level and where it comes from and 12k will smoothly flow into 120k - https://www.kobzarev.com/other/wordpress-cost/

You have a bad deal with your man. Of course, it is convenient for him to find an order below the market price without making any effort. He will receive his commission from the order without any effort. For such money as he finds an order, you can simply place an ad on any site. That there are people willing to work for food. The customer will find it, he will receive a percentage for 1 - 2 hours of the time spent. And you have a month to work.

And then they say that allegedly php-programmers do not work for food. Yeah)
Your prices are bad. Even one store cannot cost 12 thousand rubles. How much will you make a business card website then? For 1000 rubles or what? This is not serious. This is dumping. This is bad.

Dear, something you turned down the price of 12 thousand rubles for two online stores. You just had to ask the customer for zaparikov and calls or not, not calls, just water.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
