Hello. The other day I decided to install gulp and generally understand what it is. I started watching a very interesting and useful video in which everything is well explained. Of course, it wasn't without some problems. And as always, I had another difficulty. (see photo). The video explained how to check that gulp installed correctly. I tried to erase and reinstall gulp as shown in the video, but the following problem occurred (photo). Help. Looking forward to a quick wait :)

Translating to Russian: you have not defined a default task. in gulpfile. Gulp by default thinks your tasks are in this file and not elsewhere. Not knowing what kind of video you are watching, you can’t say where you got lost, but it was necessary to determine the tasks there. In theory, gulp has an option to specify a different file as a replacement for gulpfile, but everyone is used to the default. If there are no obvious reasons to move away from it - and it is not necessary.

nmp

It is clear that the system cannot find nmp when it is called npm. It is short for Node Package Manager.
