I can't insert RAM, the jumpers in the slot are too thick. ASRock B550 pro4 board. What can be done?

Bought a new motherboard and RAM but can't insert. It fits into the old motherboard without any problems. What can be done?

These are not thick jumpers, this is memory of the wrong standard. Buy the memory of that standard
And don't try to cut the slot or shove the memory by force - ruin both the memory and the motherboard.

You unhook the latch.
You insert the die into the slot lightly, just into the grooves until it stops without effort.
Then you press first of all on the end that is without a latch, the die on this side will slightly sink into the connector.
Further, without releasing this end, you press on the second end of the memory, which is next to the latch, and you drive the die to the end.
The main message is to try to shove the part that is without a latch earlier, because. there really is a protrusion that prevents you from pushing the die into the slot.
IMHO, with these new connectors with one latch, they overdid something, you are not the first with such a problem.
