I broke the terminal with the echo command, how to recover?

Tried to output from a console application to a file using the echo command.
As a result, now when trying to run the console application, an error is generated:

##@ra:~/app $ ./app
./app: line 1: out.txt: command not found

how to fix?

You have overwritten your application file and now it is just a text file.
