I became interested in retro culture, in terms of technology. I want to learn as much as possible about old computers with consoles and about VHS. Where can you get enlightened?

The issue is described above. Since my school days, I started working on Linux and fell in love with the console. I saw various pieces of information in different places and wanted to know more about the time in which I had not been. I plan to buy equipment for viewing, and later for recording VHS. I would also like to learn about the insides of various devices, because I am interested in circuitry and computer architecture.

On English YouTube. From myself I advise Technology connections - there are many different retro devices and technologies being reviewed with an explanation of how it all works.

In principle, it is easy to find a video player and VHS cassettes at flea markets and in Internet ads. But why?
Film technology is no longer in use, it becomes obsolete and demagnetized, the quality is lost forever, since it is not possible to maintain it at home, and a large manufacturer no longer produces cassettes.
Equipment for viewing - in the case of old players, for 10-20 bucks you can now find it, look at it and throw it away, there is nothing special to gather here. Look for one that connects to your TV.
As an option, find a company that digitizes cassettes and offer them money for a short excursion into the technique.
