Hello!
I want to try different types of sleep (mono- and polyphasic). But in order to evaluate the results, some markers are needed that will determine the effectiveness. I would not want to rely only on my personal subjective opinion, so I am looking for various tests that could reflect my physical and psychological state while practicing this or that type of sleep. Are there any?

I practiced two ways:
1. if the schedule allows, then you can sleep 4 hours at night (from 4 to 8), and 2 hours in the afternoon (from 16 to 18)
2. from 23 to 5.
In both cases, I get enough sleep and have enough energy even for a daily 5-kilometer jog. But if you sleep at least one or two days less than this norm, then you can hibernate for a week :-)
