Huge lags in the Firefox interface. How to fix?

Didn't install anything new. Turned on the computer in the morning, and Firefox began to slow down wildly. Turned off smooth scrolling, the brakes remained. Slows down page scrolling, slows down the rest of the interface and videos on YouTube. It also slows down text input. At the same time, the processor load remains low, there is enough memory. It all starts right at startup, on any page. There were no settings, no third-party programs were installed. Auto-update is disabled (updated to the latest version of Firefox, but the lags are gone).
All the solutions that I found relate to CPU load and lack of memory. I don't have such a problem. Feeling that video acceleration is cut off, but why, and where is it now turned on?
