HP printer wireless connection problem and Ubuntu 10.10
Hello dear.
Faced a connection problem with the HP Deskjet F4580 MFP. Actually googled, long and hard, but could not figure out anything. For an hour and a half I was able to connect normally via cable, but this is certainly not an option. Bought only because of working remotely.
Perhaps I did not find anything useful, because. I've been using Ubuntu for a month and a half.
I would really appreciate your instructions. (Chew please for the housewife in this matter).

Sorry, I'm inexperienced in this matter.
So so. I have an Asus N71J laptop with Ubuntu 10.10 installed and a modem hanging in the room connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot. All this works great if you just need the Internet. But you need to connect the printer.
Googled. Wrote about Cups. Installed, tried to configure - nothing, does not print and that's it. I poked around through standard utilities, but everything is the same.
I do not understand the scheme itself a little, how and what to do. For example, I do not understand how to set the printer to which point to connect and what password. Because it is in the coverage area of 8 different points.
I really don't understand how or what. :(
so what's the problem? Give me some information. The router is used at least or through AD-hoc trying? What are the connection errors? How did you try to connect? Where is the blockage.
Who asks questions like that...
Thanks a lot! Helped out!
Understood, everything works and prints!
