HP Pavilion g6-1106er laptop - webcam not detected?

There is an HP Pavilion g6-1106er laptop available. Actually, the problem is that the webcam is not detected in it - not at all, there are no cameras and image capture devices in the device manager, there are no undecided devices either, there are no special drivers for the camera on the manufacturer's website either. I tried both the seven and the ten, neither there, nor there, neither the camera nor unknown devices pop up. There are no sliders, switches, fn-buttons on the camera either. On the forums in Google, people have the same problem pops up in batches, but there is no solution. Does anyone have any ideas what else to try?
