How / What can a blind person earn?

From time to time I think that now people with different degrees of disability can safely work and earn money, thanks to the development of the Internet and IT in particular (people who cannot walk can easily program, etc.). But I have never been able to figure out what a blind person could do.
Question: If you suddenly became completely blind, what would be your next steps? (Options to sleep are not considered)

people who can't walk can easily program
And how will they learn this programming? What if they can't walk? Are you writing an article on philosophy and parallel universes? Trial and error? Good programmers, you will say nothing. You don't seem to understand a bit. A computer is such a thing that is used to automate routine computational or algorithmic activities. These calculations and algorithms must first be invented and debugged, but you want to put a disabled person in jail. What will it automate for you?

To begin with, I would look at what blind people in the West are doing. Query in Google "work for blind person".
Everything related to IT rests on the perception of information. If the input, okay, you can touch-type on the keyboard, then the output is a problem.
There are devices through which you can read information through your fingers:

Of course, the profession does not involve working with objects that can be located anywhere and move randomly.
There are also world famous scientists.
And programmers.
