How to work with queues in mikrotik?
Good day!
I have two vlans (home and guest). Channel width 25Mbps.
I plan to do the following:
1. increase the priority of the home network over the guest network, so that when the channel is free, it can be completely occupied by the guest network, and when traffic is needed for the home network, it will go there in the first place, and the rest will go to the guest network.
2. set the explosive speed for the guest network (for fast loading of sites) and set the maximum speed limit to 15Mbps
How can this be correctly implemented using a simple queue?
PS: does it even make sense to set the maximum speed for the guest network if the home network has priority over it? Also, based on articles found on the Internet, I noticed that no one sets up explosive speed - is it out of laziness or are there any objective reasons not to do this?

God. Well, what kind of nonsense is written here???? Why is traffic prioritization worse than explosive speed ? What the hell?
Now back to the topic. I recommend setting up "praetorian channel divisions" and setting up "revolutionary rights" in the light of "angelic purity" and in no case use "arabus ficapules" !!!!
