Why doesn't wifi work in lubuntu 14.10 after installation?

I installed lubuntu 14.10 on my laptop, but wifi is not recognized. There is no possibility to update. Internet is available only via wifi. How to enable this wifi without internet? Maybe someone has already experienced this.
