How to work in Android Studio?

I downloaded Android Studio, I need to rewrite the code from c ++ to android (a program with the Gauss method), is it hard to do this for a person who opened android studio for the first time?
Where to write the code itself (or rather, which tab to go to)?
Write exactly the same as in java, or is there a difference?

The code is written in Java projection. During debugging, it offers to display in the Debug projection. You can also edit the code there.
But before work, you still need to check the functionality of installing the Android SDK.
