How to view logs in MacOS X?

Hi all!
There are logs on a remote server. The address of the logs is http://server.ru/logs/01-10-2014/info . Now I'm browsing with the Google Chrome browser, but it's not convenient - everything new is loaded to the end and I have to scroll down.
I remember sitting on linux before, it was possible to display logs on the desktop. Where the last lines were displayed down.
Is there an analogue of such software for OS X? Maybe there are just log viewers. Googling hasn't been helpful :-(

So there are standard commands: cat, tail, more, grep... ??!
You can also look at the logs through the command line. Much more convenient IMHO.
If you don't like the command line, put monitoring. Zabbix for example
