How to recover deleted google chrome profile or at least bookmarks?

There were several profiles in Google Chrome, I deleted them all, synchronization was not configured. After these actions, I realized that kapets. I did not know that all my browser settings were tied to the profile and everything was deleted. I downloaded the file recovery program and restored the Defaults folder in the directory along the path `/Users/mars/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default`, as they say in all forums. But chrome does not want to see this folder, that is, it is not picked up. It just creates new profiles in the Profile N folder and that's it. I tried to restore at least the bookmarks, copied `Bookmarks.bak` from the Defaults folder to the current profile folder, removed the `.bak` extension, but this also did not help, there are no bookmarks. MacOS operating system.

Tell me, is it possible to somehow restore this whole thing?
