How to view folders shared on a laptop via Wi-Fi bypassing the router?

Sometimes I watch movies from my laptop on my phone via Wi-Fi, but because movies are heavy and heavily load the router, the Internet speed of other users of the router may sag.
What you need: find a way to view the shared folders of the laptop directly through its Wi-Fi, bypassing the router, without interrupting the connection of the laptop with the router.

As a rule, they go around the router.
Packets go through the router to the external network, and the entire local area, including WIFI, goes through the switch. Therefore, the router is not loaded in any way.
The load on the processor of the router is only due to the fact that WiFi is used - traffic must be encrypted there, but as a rule, all modern routers can handle this without problems.
Apparently you have an ancient router, if working via WiFi slows down the work of computers connected by wire, it makes sense to buy a modern one.

Maybe it's in the firmware of the router?
I remember my router often hung before updating.
