How to view 6 Genius F100 USB cameras at the same time?
How to organize this action on 1 computer? You do not need to record anything, just view in 1 window at the same time. Without sound. Without movement activation and other things.
What has already been done:
Installed a local ivideon server, it saw all the cameras. There is an opportunity to see each separately. I installed the ivideon client, got hooked and it sees only the first of the USB cameras, the rest are disabled. On the recommendation on the ivideon forums, I wanted to install native drivers, there is really nothing on the manufacturer's website, only utilities.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Cameras are connected via USB 2.0 hub with external power supply.

I asked myself, I will answer.
The problem was exclusively in the USB controller on the motherboard, more precisely in its bandwidth. Those. even if you configure the cameras in such a way that they give a picture with a lower resolution, then the USB2.0 bandwidth may not be enough even for the 2nd camera.
There is such a wonderful opinion on all this: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=74077
Well, here's another one: www.ispyconnect.com/userguide-connecting-cameras.aspx
So 2 cameras were plugged into USB3.0 on the motherboard. And one more in USB2.0. Other cameras were plugged into computers nearby and an ivideon server was installed on them. And all this is brought to the client.
In theory, you could buy a USB3.0 HUB and plug everything into it. But it all came down to budget.
