How to use your dns server with global domain?
Good afternoon. I apologize in advance for a possibly stupid question. But I can't understand the basic concept and I'm asking for help. I bought a domain name from a registrar and I have my own Bind9 DNS server with a global IP address. How can I make sure that all requests to my domain or subdomains are processed by my DNS server. I can’t figure out where the registrar needs to register the IP address of my personal DNS server? Thank you in advance for your help

In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1. you will need 2 (two) ip addresses
2. Do you want no other dns servers to cache your server information and all requests go through yours? This is a very strange wish.
3. In the panel of your registrar, look for the item where the ns addresses are indicated - that's where you specify.
only the server name can be entered into the NS record.
You need to create an entry in your domain
ns.my_domain.ru A abcd
then register the NS server. This is usually done in the domain registrar panel. Look up how to specify the NS server if it's in your domain.
Here at the registration stage, a link is made between the name of your NS server and its IP address.
