How to use Usenet?

Hello. Recently, it has been more difficult to find media files on the Internet. Often I stumble either on shit-exchangers or on Usenet. I read what Usenet is, but I didn’t fucking understand how to get there.
I made myself a usenet.nl trial. I was given a username and password. I downloaded the program, and it asks in addition to the login and password Host! No host was given to me. How to use it in general? What did they instill in me?
