How to use the MIT license?

There is a boilerplate distributed under the MIT license.
There is a framework, also distributed under the MIT license.
Based on these two things, the application is written (while part of their source code has been changed)
The MIT license says:

The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.
or
The above copyright notice and these terms and conditions must be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.

1. Explain on your fingers, where do I need to put the files with the licenses for the boilerplate and framework? Or do I need to specify these licenses in some other way?
2. If I'm going to publish an application under the MIT license, how do I do it? Is it enough to add the MIT license template file to the root of the open repository?

the easiest way is to see how others do it , well, for example
, according to the subject - you must inform the user that he does not violate anything explicitly or implicitly: the license under which he can use and the licenses under which certain parts of the code fall
and write in Readme : sis software id will distribute under MIT, it also uses such codes that will also be distributed under MIT
, this is enough,
but so that the user does not have to look for where this MIT is, you attach the MIT text in a separate file
