How to use plugins installed via NPM?

Good day. I installed Slick slider via NPM, a folder was created in node_modules, but what about in production? I don’t want to upload the entire node_modules folder to the hosting, but I also don’t want to manually delete unnecessary folders. What is usually done in such a situation? Until recently used Bower.
