How to use Instant Webcam to cast video through iPhone 5 to YouTube?
Greetings gentlemen, I need your mind and experience.
I want to stream an event on iPhone 5 to YouTube.
I didn’t get permission to broadcast directly to youtube, and I still didn’t understand what was needed for this :(
But there is a hengouts application for chrome, in which you can organize a video meeting that can be broadcast live on youtube.
It turns out we received a broadcast on youtube. Ok Now we use the
iPhone as a webcam, for this of course there are a bunch of applications, But I broadcast them all to a computer with terrible quality :/
Only one application (I didn’t find it anymore) broadcasts to a computer in Good quality, this is instant webcam for iPhone (unfortunately without sound )
Some information from the site:
Instant Webcam encodes video in MPEG1 format and sends the frames over WebSockets to connected Browsers. The Browser then decodes the MPEG Stream in JavaScript and paints into a Canvas. It's a huge hack, but one that turned out to work really well.
Using HTML5 Video in a cross-browser manner has been notoriusly difficult. Instant Webcam solves this problem by using jsmpeg – an MPEG1 decoder written in JavaScript that works in all modern browsers, instead of relying on built-in decoders.
