How to use Bootstrap3's responsiveness without using its grids?

I don't like Bootstrap3's grids, but I like its responsiveness. But how to make the menu from the horizontal site adapt to phones without grids?

It is convenient to use less and Sass versions, include the styles you need. Elements do not have to be in container - but this is a very convenient class that allows you to center the site + 15px padding from the left and right edges when adaptive (Although it is better to reduce them to 10px - depending on the design). And if the design does not use grids and UI BS3, then why include it at all? It will not be easier for you to organize your own grid with media. Or use grid generators.
