How to upload photos to iPhone?

Hello.
I was asked to upload about 350 photos and 70 videos to one iPhone 6. At the moment there is already a photo stream (800 photos) and other albums (more than 500 photos). I read that it's enough to go to iTunes, select the folder with the downloaded photos to sync and click "Sync". If I do this, will the images already there disappear from the device?
Thank you.

If there was no synchronization of the iPhone with your computer before, then they may disappear. BUT these 500 should already be in the photo stream, which contains the last 1000 photos. Use third party software (not iTunes). Dropbox will help you.

Upload data using iTools, iMazing, AnyTrans, FoneTrans and similar programs.

If you click sync, then there will only be what you have on your PC. You can connect your iPhone as a USB flash drive and drop the necessary information there.
