Will replacing the lightlink connector on the iphone help if the device is not recognized for file transfer?

The cable is in order, the drivers are in order, I tried it on several PCs, itunes is the latest. No computer recognizes the wired file transfer device. But the wire is in order, tested with other devices. All of them on all PCs open without problems for transferring files. The "Trust" button does not appear only when you connect this particular Iphone to the computer. The charge is coming. The problem is obviously only with the connector in the Iphone. Will replacing the connector help? What other possible breakdowns can there be?
