How to upgrade to 4 core linux in linux mint 17?
Hello, the package for 4 cores has been updated from the ubuntu deb site. But when loading, it gave an error on the graphical interface. I took a screenshot. What can be said from this log, where did I go wrong? https://dropmefiles.com/F3c0g

It says that the nvidia driver was not found.
Usually it is enough to manually start dkms, but the 340 version is old, and probably does not support 4+ kernels, so it was not going to.
It is necessary to demolish the 340 driver and install a newer one, 352 works for me with a small edit in the kernel file on 4.2, and 355, in my opinion, without edits should work on 4.2.
On 4.0-4.1, both of you will have no problems.
