How to upgrade from debian6 to debian8 without stopping the server?

There is a server on debian6. A site is spinning on it, which cannot be cut down during the update.
How to upgrade OS to debian8 in such conditions?
Interested in approaches to solving this problem, links to articles (including foreign ones), because my (albeit not very diligent) google did not find any information.
