How to update U-Boot bootloader settings on bananapi via SSH?

How to update U-Boot bootloader settings on bananapi via SSH?
There is a bananapi m1 32-bit board, but it doesn’t even matter, any other board, the main thing is that ARM is 32 bits, where there is no unified boot. Linux Armbian (Debian 8 distribution). I wanted to play with the I / O scheduler, and for this you need to change the kernel boot parameters that are set in the bootloader.
There is even an armbian-config utility that allows you to change them, but it changes them somewhere in its config, the bootloader itself is not updated: I look at the parameters with which the current boot went (after reboot, of course) - everything is the same (there is there are bootloader images, the date of change is old, their configs have a new one).
There are articles on the Internet on how to do this when working directly, i.e. when Monique, Claudia or through the series, you need to get to the bootloader console and there the setenv saveenv commands are simple (in theory).
But I have never had such a connection, all my life through ssh. Is there something like update-grub for u-boot?
Of course, you can strain yourself, nestle somewhere to the TV with hdmi, take away the keyboard from someone, or master the series (I even have it, but it may not be suitable, it didn’t work out at one time, but it seems that in armbian the console is not active by default , it is necessary to include) - but I want it easy and comfortable)))
