How to update the authenticity list of driver signatures in Windows 7?
There is a graphic monitor, and there are drivers, but the system does not want to understand their digital signature in any way.
I thought the problem was in the security system. Turned off the check rule, went into test mode - zero result.
Then, I started digging towards certificates and verification of signatures. I found the signature of the driver and what do you think the verdict of the system is? "The driver has a trusted digital signature" (the driver file itself - properties).
Actually, I have suspicions towards Windows updates. Since the driver is new (20 years old), it may not be on the list of trusted ones, under the seven.
If I think correctly, then how can I add this driver as trusted? (Registering a certificate from the manufacturer?)
-- Loading without validation does the magic. The machine boots, the drivers get up. I turn off the device and put it again - the driver is unsigned.
- There is no point in switching to win 10
