How to update software?

Hello.
I'm using freebsd 10.2 x64 on DigitalOcean.
I noticed that pkg offers to install old software.
For example:

# pkg update
Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue...
FreeBSD repository is up-to-date.
All repositories are up-to-date.
# pkg search nginx
nginx-1.8.1,2 Robust and small WWW server
...

Although fresh nginx is already available here: pkg.freebsd.org/freebsd:10:x86:64/latest/All/nginx...
There is a suspicion that I have a rarely updated repository.
How to make sure? How to change to official?
# pkg info pkg
