What to do with FreeBSD?

Sometimes you have to install fryashnye server as a gateway for a small number of clients. And these machines are buzzing around the clock almost at idle, the processor is rarely loaded by more than 2%, since they have few tasks, and they cope with the available ones without straining.
And my brain of an innovator cannot tolerate such irrationality) Electricity is wasted, the Internet is unlimited, the OS is economical, and there is often nothing to do (especially at night).
Hence the question - what is so useful for society (and maybe for yourself) to occupy them?
The average server is actually a regular PC:

  • 1.5-2.5 GHz CPU
  • 512-1024 GB RAM
  • 40-80 GB hard drive
  • typically asynchronous internet 8/1 Mbps (download/upload)

The channel in most cases is free by more than 50%.

Make a server(s) with packages! Sometimes the official servers don't have what you need (Open/Libre Office, for example). As a last resort, unload a little of. servers and will distribute fresher versions of packages.

Sometimes a machine is needed to compile a large number of sources (for example, rebuild blender with its own edits, or gimp). I don’t want to occupy a working computer with this for half an hour.
