How to update OwnCloud?

Costs OwnCloud under Debian Wheezy. OwnCloud is installed on it from the official OwnCloud repositories. Updated with aptitude. After the last update, I got an error like:
"ownCloud is being updated, this may take some time . Please
reload this page after a while to continue using ownCloud.
Contact your system administrator if this message does not disappear or appears unexpectedly.
Thank you for your patience."
And it's been like this for 2 or 3 weeks :( There wasn't a lot of information, no more than 15-20 GB. Locally, it's all there, but I wouldn't want to demolish everything and reconfigure it. Help, how can I fix this?

Probably a bit late to answer, I myself recently encountered a similar problem, perhaps it will be useful to someone. You have not completed the upgrade process. You should have disabled maintenance mode (change 'maintenance' => true to 'maintenance' => false in config.php). After that, the update will continue, after which everything will work.

change to owncloud directory
cd /var/www/ owncloud/
and execute commands there:
sudo -u www-data php /var/www/owncloud/occ upgrade
sudo -u www-data php /var/www/owncloud/occ maintenance:mode --off

Worth OwnCloud

It's not clear what's going on with you.
In general, if you installed from a package, update the package:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

After that, the first time you log in, ownCloud will continue to complete the update - and after a few seconds, you will be ready.
If it didn’t update at the entrance, there are no psychics here, look at the web server logs instead of asking here, and deal with the logs already, and if it doesn’t work out, write here.
