How to update Adobe Flash Player on Windows 8 RTM?
Friends, good day!
Installed Windows 8 RTM on my laptop. I'm testing. Faced such a problem. The Flash Player ActiveX component for IE10 is already bundled with Windows 8 out of the box. A new version of Flash Player has recently been released, but I can't update it from the installation file. The installer says that I already have the latest version installed and refuses to update it.
Needless to say, Windows Update is neither a dream nor a spirit about the new version of Flash Player.
Tell me, friends, can there be any parameters for launching the Flash Player installer to force its installation / update?
UPD . I'm not the only one with the same problem. Link .

An Adobe employee wrote in the forum that updates to Flash (which is ActiveX) on Windows 8 are not expected before release, and cannot be manually updated. Flash Plugin for other browsers is installed and updated without problems.
I checked it myself. This problem did not arise, all parameters during the update are by default.
I installed it from the site on top, now it offers to update itself. But it doesn’t update automatically, it just sends it to the site.
