How to uninstall Ubuntu installed next to Win10?Go into disk management and delete the partition where ubuntu is installed.
Remove disk + run (from the Windows installation disk, for example) bootloader recovery so that Windows registers its place.
I did this: before installing Ubuntu, I split the system disk into two. Empty subsequently engaged in ubuntu. When it is installed, GRUB is installed, which, at system startup, shows a menu that allows you to choose which system to boot. The first line there is ubuntu, then somewhere at the bottom of Windows. This menu can be edited by changing the grub.cfg file in the /boot/grub directory. Just look for a block with information about the Windows bootloader and move it above the lines about the Ubuntu bootloader (for sure, this can be done through some GUI). After that, just boot into Windows, delete the partition with ubuntu and attach it to the system one in place.
If the motherboard supports UEFI, then everything is easier there. No one overwrites anyone's bootloaders, the operating system is selected in the BIOS. Deleted by deleting the section. For ubuntu, you can even do without a hornbeam if you immediately load the kernel
