How to unimage android?
Good afternoon.
Everywhere it is advised to shoot an image of a partition in Android via dd, having previously recognized the blocks. However, there is a /by-name folder. Can you take a picture from there? And also restore?
It’s impossible to simply mount / data in TWRP due to encryption and its block cannot be recognized in any way.

if you need the contents of the folder, then you can copy it while the android is running. and also pour it back. Problems begin at a backup of active files.
only you first decide what you need: the image of the partition or the contents of a specific folder on this partition??
these are somewhat different things.
