How to turn on the display of the distance between layers in pixels in Adobe Photoshop?
I don’t understand why I don’t see the distance in pixels between layers (as in the screenshot). And it seems that I found a video lesson and read help on the adobe site itself ( https://helpx.adobe.com/ru/photoshop/using/grid-gu... ), but nothing happens! Everything is like in a lesson or help: there are several layers, I will select one, hover over another layer, press Ctrl, and nothing happens, but they should show the distance in pixels to it!
Tell me what am I doing wrong?
PS. Photoshop version - CC 14.2.1

First, set the units of measure. Preferences --> Units and Rulers --> Change the value of units to pixels.
------
Then include additional auxiliary elements. Preview --> Auxiliary elements
------
Now hover over one of the layers and hold down ctrl. Everything should work
. Otherwise, it's something incomprehensible.
